The Nerds try out a new broadcast clock this week!

ww-cv41-1-127051This past week, a new costume for Wonder Woman surfaced.  The Nerds throw in their opinions.  Are there elements of the suit that are carried over from the original design?  Is the costume a drastic departure from the character we all of come to know?  What part of the new costume does Ben have an issue with?  What are the overall thoughts from The Nerds?

deloreanThere are many different ways and vehicles that we use in Science Fiction to travel through time.  A DeLorean.  H.G. Wells’s Time Machine.  A starship to slingshot around the sun.  A TARDIS!  Which ways are the best and safest to time travel?  The Nerds tackle the topic and Ben RAGES!

SAM_1046Its in the News that conventions such as PAX and E3 have banned “Booth Babes.”  The Nerds define what a Booth Babe is.  What is the difference between a Booth Babe and Cosplayers?  What type of dress code are acceptable at conventions?  The Nerds discuss the use of Booth Babes and the reason why Booth Babes are there to begin with.  Also, are Booth Babes present outside of comic cons?  What type of other conventions are Booth Babes present?

The Nerds begin with a slightly delayed but necessary and frank discussion about a matter that is quite important to them regarding Dallas Comic Con.  They peel back the curtain about some of the processes they go through to cover an event like Fan Days.  The good along with the bad.

jupiter_ascending_movie_poster_2Ben and Kristi have their long awaited review of Jupiter Ascending.  From the mind of the Wachowski’s, would this live up to movies such as The Matrix or movies like The Matrix Revolutions?  Are there different types of Sci-Fi?  Is there such a thing as generic Sci-Fi?  Does Mila Kunis have any type of character development?  Does Sean Bean die in the film?  All your questions are revealed as Ben and Kristi fill you in on this….unique….movie.

In the aftermath of her fight with the Odinson, we find the Goddess of Thunder facing down The Absorbing Man and Titania!  Odin AllFather is scheming to find out who the new Thor is.  Along with almost everyone else in Asgardia!  With no real threat to fight, does the story now seem to fall flat?  Could there be any more interest in a female Thor once her identity is revealed? agent-carterBen noticed something while watching the promos for Agent Carter premiering this Tuesday at 8/7C on ABC.  The promos for Agent Carter have been making such an issue of her being a woman being powerful and all of the men in the series are underestimating her.  Again and again and again!  She proved her ability that she is more than a pretty face in the first Captain America movie and again in her own Marvel one shot!  Could this spell doom for Agent Carter before it even preimeres?
